
ENU Hosted the Award Ceremony for the Winners of the IT Development Contest

In honor of Digitalization Day in Kazakhstan, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) held a ceremony to award the winners of the IT Development Contest among students, master’s, and doctoral students.
The main goal of the contest was to identify and support the best digital solutions created by ENU learners, as well as to promote the development of innovative thinking and practical IT skills among young people.
The event took place on November 10, 2025, in the Main Building of ENU.
The ceremony was attended by Member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Chief Digital Officer Gulmira Tyleuberdievna Bekmanova, representatives of faculties, heads of departments, students, and participants of the contest.
“Digitalization is not just about technology — it is a new culture of efficiency, openness, and collaboration.
It is inspiring to see that our students are becoming the authors of solutions that make the university smarter and more modern. Their ideas contribute not only to the digital future of ENU but also to the digital progress of our entire country,” — emphasized G.T. Bekmanova.
Contest Winners:
1st Place — Orazaly Talgatovich Atygaev. E.N.U.R.A. An intelligent assistant for students and faculty that instantly provides answers about the educational process and integrates with the Smart.ENU ecosystem.
2nd Place — Ali Azatuly Bazarbai. Jumys Tabu. A platform connecting students with employers, helping them find internships and career opportunities in their field of study.
2nd Place — Zhanel Bakytbekovna Baiganina. Detect AI. A LegalTech system for analyzing witness statements and legal texts in Kazakh and Russian languages.
3rd Place — Adilkhan Ualikhanovich Yeltayev. Smart Room. A digital solution for booking classrooms and organizing university events.
3rd Place — Aishagul Piralievna Begaly. AI System for Legal Document Adaptation. A system that enables quick preparation and bilingual formatting of legal documents.
3rd Place — Edige Radolda. IT Bilim. An interactive educational platform for studying computer science and programming with built-in Olympiad preparation features.
The winners received certificates of recognition and valuable prizes, and their projects will be considered for further integration into the Smart.ENU ecosystem.
